What is it about a Mediterranean that desirous we to put it in a bottle?
I adore a pleasing tile we see there while you’re eating lunch. Those pleasing blues, greens and touches of pinks. we only came behind from that partial of a world. The architecture, a colors and a fresh, summer atmosphere are all things we love.
Do we keep certain smells in your memory from your travels?
I do. we was in Long Island during my grandmother’s residence with my father and children, and her lilac underbrush were in full bloom. It only reminded me of spring. we took a design of them and sent them to a perfumer. There’s zero some-more open and special than a lilac brush in full bloom.
Do we trust in carrying a incense habit and are there fragrances for day and night?
Definitely. The fragrances we chose should be formed on if we are a citrus, a floral or a sharp person. I’m a floral chairman by heart. we consider flower petals are in my blood. Fragrance is a many insinuate thing, and we have to feel good wearing it. we do consider there are certain fragrances that are seasonal. Amber redolence is unequivocally winter to me. It’s cozy, and we consider about a glow and being wrapped in a blanket. But again it all depends on what we like. It’s personal, so there are no mistakes.
Any smells we wish to bottle now?
I adore a thought of gardenia. we wore it on my marriage day. Gardenias are beautiful. we have a incense called Gardenia Rattan. we also like a smell of uninformed immature grass. Maybe not as a incense though as a home fragrance.
What can we design subsequent from AERIN?
We are about to launch accessories on net-a-porter.com. It’s a plug collection now and will be an stretched collection in a fall. It’s bags and shoes. In a universe of home, we’re about to come out with wallpapers and fabrics.

How do we and your father keep a stylish home with dual teenage sons (ages 15 and 16) and 3 dogs?
